I try to not take myself too seriously, although I don't always succeed. I do enjoy setting and achieving goals in life. I try to stay centered and take life as it comes. I took dance lessons at such a young age that music is not just lyrics but a melody that can make you dance is great as well. Broadway and theater are awesome, I love to go into NYC for the day especially when I get to see a play.

I am always out doing things. From grilling and hanging with friends at there house or mine. Someone always brings fireworks which is a standard household item with my group. First off, I can say that filling out the below information is going to drive me crazy. The combination of being a perfectionist and a writer is enough to keep me here filling out these questions all day, ya know always looking for that exact word and then spelling it right, checking for dangling modifiers etc. It's exhausting. So I'm going to try to just ignore these traits and just write what comes to mind at the moment.

Let's see, I like vanilla rather than chocolate, i'm left-handed, i don't believe in microwaves, i sleep with the tv on, a seagull once shit directly on my upper lip. I was about 10. I find it hard to cry at sad movies but often cry at "not sad" sentences from self-improvement books and certain commercials (I think Liberty Mutual has a sad one.) I prefer dark beer. I can't stand people who walk slow when they're in front of you and who walk into you when they are walking toward you. I wonder if those are the same people. I love fingerless gloves. I love board games. I relish getting into my car after it's been in the sun all day and sitting there a minute in that sweltering heat before turning the car on. I get cold really easily. Whenever I'm walking with someone, I like to be on the left. I always use capital "E"s when I write. I've been calling myself a vegetarian for the passed 4 months, but I'm more of a flexitarian at the moment. I'm primarily sticking to a vegetarian diet, but if I get really hungry, I'll eat chicken or seafood. I'm trying to balance my life enough to be able to stick to a vegetarian lifestyle. I'm doing it mainly for health reasons, so if you eat meat, I won't kill you for it. I'm Portuguese, and I grew up watching my family slaughter animals so it's no biggie.

I'm enjoying being a college student and young. I play video games with my friends (and beat their face because they suck lol). I love RPG based games, as well as fighting games. First person shooters get me dizzy but I will be getting a 360, L4D and a Live! account, because my guy friends are dying for me to join their unit lol. I sometimes hang at diners til 2 in the morning. I play DDR at Smiles or in the NYC Toys 'R Us despite the fact that Gefferey the Giraffe molested me D: (Not really, he freaks me out and he thought it would be funny to cuddle glomp me...totally not cool).

Trips to NYC are awesome, and I love going with my friends. I've been in Harlem, Manhattan and Chinatown so far. Chinatown is by far my favorite because of all the awesome stores with awesome gaming and anime merchandise, it tickles my nerd pickle <3

As far as the people I've dated, I think it's safe to say that I don't want or need an overly nice and overly complacent person. I need someone who can be hard and independent, but also sweet and loving when it comes down to it. I don't want a "yes-person" and I don't want someone who is going to give into me at every turn. I hate that about people. Granted, I would give people the world if I could, but I hate it when people try to over-indulge me.

I like to go out for drives, I am very spontaneous and just like to do things on the fly. I love hanging out with my family and friends the most.
