The principal knows the name of every student. The principal is extremely committed to the school; she is a former student, parent and teacher at St. Stephen. The faculty is very experienced and dedicated; there is little turnover. The school community is also very welcoming; new students and families are valued and diversity is considered a strength. St. Stephen tries to educate the whole person. A new library and computer center opened two years ago. In addition to core studies, the school offers extracurricular activities such as sports and music, including a jazz band. Students are also involved in the community; for example, student council members visit local veterans on Veterans Day. My children are getting a very good, well-rounded education.”
