“Sound school in new haven is a great school. My son went from having a 35 in algebra before sound school and now has a 95 average. This is all due to there small classes and there way of teaching. The teachers there are awesome! they are always there to help. Also there teaching techniques have alot of hands projects. This is also great for the kids. It keeps them interested and they are learning while they are having fun. I have nothing but positive things to say about the sound school. My son also feels the same. I thought that leaving all his friends would bother him. Also there all different kind of activities for the kids to get involved. This is also great because not all kids enjoy or can do contact sports. But if they do want to play sports they can play with other schools.”

The Sound School is quite small and diverse with its faculty, administration, resource, and student body. This enabled my son to feel more relaxed and certainly well accepted by all. The teachers are down to earth, caring and knowledgable in their area of expertise. Especially with regards to helping students find their way academically, vocationally and socially to some extent. For the most part, students work together with one another and have pride in their unique opportunitiy to attend this small, quaint, dedicated vocational high school located on the beautifuly Long Island Sound.”
